Many things can bore me, but I think the most annoying of these are people who just want to engage in small talk and never go deeper. Personally small talk drives me crazy, I want to know your opinion on the things that matter in life: your beliefs, favorite books, greatest ambitions, greatest let downs, things you love, and things you hate. I do not want to know your opinion on the weather, unless of course, you love weather and have devoted your life to studying it. Tell me what matters to you, it’ll get you a lot farther than telling me you think cloudy days are unmotivating.
