What experiences in life helped me grow the best?

Probably knowing people who weren’t as invested in me as I was in them. I feel like afterwards I realized that I don’t have to be close with everyone and not everyone’s going to want to be close with me. It was hard at the time though because I was willing to listen to them for hours if they would do the same for me but I’ve found it’s very hard to find someone who will listen to you for hours without interrupting you every other minute to point out something completely different.
