What activities do I loose myself in?

Writing and reading, but mostly when I’m writing. I used to think it would be boring to be an author and know all the plot twists and turns, but then I started writing my own book and realized it was entirely different. You live your book just as much as you write it, the characters the scenery, it all comes to life before your very eyes. Your characters become people you could never have anticipated, and the plot twists surprise me just as much as they do the reader! Authors get much more out of a book than the reader ever will, why? Because we get to understand all the tiny, insignificant details that will never be important enough to put on the page, and yet, they make the world so much more real. I long to be able to properly translate everything I see onto a page, but sadly description bores most people. If only people could focus on something longer! But that is to wish someone to be unhuman, well I suppose if you’ve read this much you might be the hope humanity is waiting for.
